I've always been a bit nervous around watercolor and just said to myself "Well, you're not going to learn unless you try." so I did.
This is my first attempt with watercolors and colored pencil for the shading, etc. I had a blast with this one. It's my husband's beautiful but snarky character, Arty, who is a made-up animal called a yumar (aquatic cheetah, durr hurr). The scan didn't pick up the glitter I snuck onto his tail and his eyes.
